Assembly Bytes – Spring 2020
Although the in-person Region 6 Spring Assembly was cancelled, it was still ‘business as unusual.’ Officers attended a virtual meeting in which reps were invited to attend. Voting took place via an online survey, and committee work began!
Two important matters were voted on:
1. The 2020-2021 Region 6 budget passed. Some adjustments to the approved budget were made based on the previous 6 months.
2. The motion to change the application date for WSBC scholarships also passed. The purpose of this change will ensure the receipt of applications is consistent year to year and allows ample time for consideration at the board level.
Three additional motions have been carried forward to the Fall Assembly.
Assembly plans for fall will be announced at a later date.
