Three public-information plans funded

Green Mountain North, Southwestern Connecticut, and Western Mass intergroups were granted a total of $2,344 to carry out public information campaigns at the Fall Assembly on Sept. 21 in Albany, NY.

Green Mountain North will run an ad advising about OA for a year in the state’s most circulated newspaper. Southwestern Connecticut will pay for ads on the side of five buses operating in Norwalk and Milford, for four weeks. Western Mass. is distributing OA literature to colleges, healthcare centers, and weight loss centers.

Region 6 grants funds at each assembly to intergroups that have proposed specific plans. Recipients are asked to fund half or more of their project. Projects considered by the Spring Assembly must be submitted by Feb. 4. Forms for this purpose: English | French
