Intergroup Outreach to work on contacts

The Intergroup Outreach Committee, commonly referred to as IGOR, discussed several of its procedures when it met April 6 at the end of the morning session of the Spring Assembly.

Members decided to ensure it has current contact information for the 36 intergroups that are part of Region 6. They also discussed best practices for when an intergroup goes dormant, and decided to review its process for making scholarships available to intergroups that can’t afford to send a representative to Albany.

The Region hosts two assemblies a year, although in the spring of 2025, the assembly has decided to meet virtually, for several reasons. The Fall 2025 Assembly will meet in Albany as usual, and no decision has been made on how the 2026 assemblies will be conducted.
