Service Opportunities
In the spirit of our fellowship’s tradition of giving back what we have so graciously been given, here is your opportunity to sign up for service at your convention. We need lots of help, so please take some time to review these service opportunities and sign up! Not only does service bring fellowship, it also allows each of us to contribute to something greater than ourselves, and help to carry the message to the compulsive overeater who still suffers.

Convention Program
Here is the list of events for the convention
Registration
- Advance Registration is now closed. Onsite Registration at the door is $90
- Note that your registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Region 6 appreciates your donation!
Hotel
- The convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency at 125 East Main Street in Rochester, New York
- The hotel is in downtown Rochester and is newly-renovated and upscale
- Parking at the hotel is $10 per day
- Rooms for single or double occupancy with one king bed or two queen beds are $189 per night (plus taxes)
- A triple room is $214 per night and a quad room is $239
- Hotel cancellation policy: A credit card is required at the time of booking. Cancellation may be made up to 48 hours prior to arrival
- Note that higher floors/river view rooms have a higher cost
- The cutoff date to reserve rooms is October 2

Meals
- Meal tickets can not be refunded. Meal tickets may be transferred to another person.

Why Rochester?
We move the convention around the Region 6 area because our members are from New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Central and Eastern Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island; and Bermuda.
This means that the convention is accessible to members from all areas, which gives people an opportunity to go to the convention when it’s closer to their home. It can also strengthen the intergroups in the area where it is hosted.
The convention is a vital fundraiser for Region 6 which enables us to honor Tradition 5, to carry the OA message of recovery to the compulsive overeater who still suffers, and it promotes unity and fellowship.
Why not car pool, have fellowship, and have a meeting on your way to and from the convention?
