The Twelfth Step Within Committee agreed to several goals for its next six months of work: To write two articles for the newsletter, to aid the World Service Twelfth Step Within marathon in December, and to examine taking ownership of the region’s speaker list.
Twice a year, Region 6 officers file reports to the Assembly on their actions. The fall 2024 reports are now available.
The Twelfth Step Within Committee’s mission is to carry the message of recovery to members who are struggling and to former members. At the Fall Assembly, the committee decided it would distribute Twelve Step handbooks to three English-speaking intergroups that didn’t send a representative to the Assembly, as well as to the Region’s French-speaking intergroups….
The bylaws committee is working toward completing its review of former trustee liaison Beth B’s edits to the Policies and Procedures Manual, and intends to complete that work this year. Some amendment proposals may arise as a result. Others goals set include establishing a clear path for those who would seek to submit new motions…
