R6 board opening

As you may know, Region 6 held officer elections at the recent Fall Assembly. Two positions were filled, and the position of secretary is still open. This means the board will appoint a secretary to serve until the 2025 Fall Assembly.

Please consider applying, and passing this information to other OA members. The deadline to submit your application is Oct. 12.

To be eligible, a person shall at the time of appointment:

• Be attending OA meetings within Region 6.
• Have current continuous abstinence from compulsive overeating of at least two years, each person being the sole judge of her or his abstinence.

And one or more of the following;

• Have served as regional representative or alternate representative at two of the past four Region 6 Assemblies, and have a year of active service at the intergroup level.
• Have attended three of the past six Region 6 Assemblies.
