Intergroup renewal return?

Committee members discussed renewing a Region 6 effort to help intergroups revitalize their efforts via a course it has offered several times. Dozens of intergroup leaders and members have taken the course in past years, but it has not been offered in the past couple.

The committee also discussed the intersection of intergroups’ funding of representatives and delegates and their contributions to the region and World Service. “It is important to encourage IGs for self-sufficiency first,” the committee wrote in its report, which it submitted during the Fall Assembly Sept. 21 in Albany, NY. (See report, below.)

In other news, the committee continues its outreach to intergroups it hasn’t connected with recently. And, Chloe G was elected to a second term as chairwoman.
