En juillet, the region found itself without either a chair or a vice chair, and concluded that that was a sign that the region was no longer viable. After considerable inquiry and discussion, it was decided that Region 4 would cease to exist on June 1.
All intergroups got to choose which region they would affiliate with, and a new map reflecting their choices will be available within the year, Board of Trustees chairwoman Meg M. said.
